Other quick updates:

Had chemo #2 today. Blew out two veins on the top of my hand on the first two IV placement attempts, but then an inner forearm vein appeared and the nurse was able to tap it quickly. Yes!!

My doc in Whitehorse has added a few new drugs this round to see if I can better manage the bone pain, constipation, and empty rotten stomach feeling that made me snack during the night to ward off the nausea.

So no port for now. Feeling good. Had two great walks in Whitehorse. One of the new drugs makes me sleepy which is welcomed. Makes napping easier!

If the clouds stay up in the air and not in the valley at the Dawson airport, I’ll be home first thing tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
