Looking back, 2018 was a terrific year! Yeah really it was, despite the cancer diagnosis, surgery, chemo, radiation, and being off work for half the year, it really was a good year. We’ve made some great friends, and will carry forward many fun memories of 2018.
Last night our friends had us out to their gold mine for an epic New Years Eve bash!
Our evening had all the perks of an epic bash: good food, drink, friends, and explosives.
A couple hours before midnight, we shifted from the campfire to a bonfire up the hill a bit, where 100 wooden shipping pallets were torched. The heat was tremendous!
At midnight, we welcomed 2019 with an amazing fireworks show. I took close to 400 photos of the fireworks. Here’s a few of the ones that stood out on my first pass through them:
