Beautiful day out. My tulips in the front are open and so so beautiful!!
The birds are having a FEAST at my feeders. They can finish off a feeder full of niger seed in 48 hours! I have an entire flock visiting right now – I think they are some sort of warbler – yellow rumped maybe? There are easily 20 of them out there at a time.
Be sure to click on the photos to see the larger image. This Kodak Easyshare Z740 zooms in so well! Of course the birds were having such a feast I walked up closer too and they didn’t flinch!

Lisa, your tulips are beautiful. Brian and I had mother’s day dinner with your mom and grandma Stock tonight and then enjoyed a walk in Rockway Park. They have wonderful tulip gardens in Kitchener. I am SOOO full. We had dinner at the outback steakhouse, mmmm steak!
I Hope you got outside today as it was fabulous!
Your camera seems to be taking awesome close up shots of your birds! keep posting!
Later.

i like the under the steps shot. unique angle. nice colors.
i haven’t seen those birds at our feeder but
our niger seed feeder forces the birds to hang up-side-down, so maybe they wouldn’t like that. anyway, ya, seems like the birds threw a party and you were the host ! ha.

Lisa those birds are Pine Siskins. Nice bird to have coming to your feeder. I do not get them often in my yard.
