Took a Drive up to the Canadian Carver

We took a nice Sunday drive up to the Canadian Carver. I can’t believe I hadn’t been up there this year! I love that place!

We didn’t buy too much, but dreamed of having it all in our house some day 😉 [it’s a big road side store for tourists full of Native arts and crafts, art prints and paintings, carved wood, neat kitchen nic nacs, moccasins, maple syrup goods, statues, furs, clothing, jewelry, etc]

Now that it’s September, all the leaves are starting to turn. None of the colours are brilliant yet, but the entire forest canopy has turned to browns and reds.

This is so nice having a relaxing long weekend. I really needed it.
