Today’s Life Lesson

Lesson 1. When wandering outside in your slippers to throw ashes across the snowy, icy driveway, first check the direction of the prevailing wind.

Lesson 2. When you throw a bucket of hot ashes and are startled when the fine ashes all blow back on you, release your second hand from inside the ash bucket handle. Because it’s hot.

  1. I love reading your blog, it is a highlight of my day and a breath of fresh air, never hot ashes! Thanks for sharing all your life experiences, love the pink goggles, my color for sure, can’t wait to visit now!!

  2. I think the surprising thing to me in this life lesson, is that you haven’t discovered wind blown ashes until today. I would have assumed that would have been in week one.
