Jack Frost finally stopped by over night and painted all of our trees.
It was -17C at our house this morning, and even colder (-20C) all the way into town. We don’t get cold temperatures here like northern Ontario, or even southern Ontario. I love the cold crisp air. Especially because cold crisp weather usually brings the promise of sunshine. It sure didn’t disappoint. Yesterday I was able to get home before the sun tucked away behind the far side of the valley. Monty and I frolicked in the sun for ten whole minutes! In December I was getting home in the dark, so the days are getting longer!
For the last two mornings I went wandering around the yard while my car was thawing, enjoying the crisp air and the silence of the morning. Here are some pictures I took this morning:
Tonight the rain moves in. Yuck!
Off to help Jeff bring in some fire wood….

Looks beautiful!
And you have such a nice looking house- I just love it!
