Crossing paths, Whistler, new truck, and pup

Crossing paths, Whistler, new truck, and pup

Hello from Whistler! Just got checked into my room for the week, where I’ll be spending all my waking hours with my coworkers who are joining me from around the world. Here’s the view from my balcony:I left home yesterday morning, and drove down to Whitehorse to catch the flight. It was a dreary morning when I left Dawson City.

But the low clouds lifted by Pelly Crossing. It wasn’t easy leaving home, and leaving Hank! I kissed him on the nose. And what a treat – he didn’t bite my face. Oh puppies! He’s slowly transitioning from chewing on me to kisses. But mostly still chewing on me. How big will he be when I get home in a week!?Jeff was just home a day when I left. He flew down to Edmonton and bought a used truck in Red Deer. He wasn’t keen on posing for a picture with his new truck, but I forced him 🙂 When I return next week, we’ll quickly cross paths again as he goes off on a hunting trip. Seems we always end up travelling back to back in the fall!

(Anyone want to buy his old truck?)
