When you gather at a gold mine for New Years Eve, you’re doing it wrong if you don’t have hundreds of pallets on fire, a pot of chili on the woodstove, a bonfire hot enough to melt the eyebrows off your face, and the company of great friends.

I took hundreds of fireworks photos. None of them stand out as a favourite this year, but I’ll share a bunch here!
