I drove up to the top of the Dome again this afternoon to look for more prairie crocuses. The day was much like yesterday – warm, with clouds billowing up in the west and spreading across the sky.

There were more blooming than yesterday, and they are popping up across the slope side!

Hard to pick a picture as nice as yesterday’s, so here are a few I took as I wandered along the slope.

They pop up and emerge so quickly!

This is the slope I was wandering on. Town is down there by the riverside.

Eventually the clouds took away my sunshine and I headed back down the hill. I’m getting so much more comfortable with my truck’s stick shift! I think it’s time for a longer drive for adventure!
