Video recap of our expedition

We didn’t purposely make a video of our trip down the Yukon River, but I used Apple’s Live Photo feature on my iPhone so I had hundreds of ~2 second clips and several longer videos along the way. I’ve strung them all together into one video of our clips.

Unfortunately you can hear the ‘click’ of each photo I took, but it’s still kinda neat to see video rather than still shots. Take a watch if you’re interested! Maybe next time we’ll purposely make a YouTube video to share our adventure, but blogging just feels more natural.

  1. I feel like I’ve just had a boat ride, yahoo, it’s been a while!
I wondered how loud the motor would be
and if it’s all you heard in your head after your long days, but other than when you caught winds, that motor sounded real quiet!
Thankyou for letting me catch a glimpse of your expedition for myself, the river and scenery are beautiful.
So relieved when you actually succeeded in completing the route with no horrible encounters, just a mamas big sigh, full of pride though ♥️♥️

    1. Yeah it’s pretty quiet, except when Jeff had it throttled up to go against the current or across Lake Laberge. We could easily talk over it. Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!

    1. They were on the inside of the rain fly. So outside of the tent itself, but inside the second layer. That was such a crazy sight! No idea why they were so happy in there!?
