When I was travelling around the country on the second half of my sabbatical, I aimed to send Jeff a postcard every single day. It was a steep goal, that I didn’t reach, but I just counted at least 22 postcards in a stack on our counter. Not bad!?
We were flipping through them at Thanksgiving dinner, and I noticed Beardmore’s postmark!
Have you been to Beardmore, Ontario? It’s on the northern stretch of Highway 11, between Nipigon and Longlac.

It is home to the world’s largest snowman! Remember the pictures I posted? Flashback:

Check out their postmark!!

I just love it!! I wondered if Glendon, Alberta, home of the world’s largest perogy has something similar? I didn’t mail a post card from there because we couldn’t find anything with a perogy on it! (And I guess I should start spelling perogy like pyrogy?)
A quick Google search confirms it! If they don’t anymore, they used to! There is an eBay listing for one!

Do you know of any other places with a fun postmark?
