If it weren’t for those handy tire pressure alarms on modern cars, I would have driven with a half inflated tire this morning.
It looked fine, but didn’t have enough air in it to register on the manual air pressure gauge.
Jeff was just pulling away, but I flagged him back, and he pumped it up with air with my cigarette lighter air compressor.
It held the pressure on the way to town, but I took it to Chrysler anyway so they can take a look. I hope I didn’t drive over a nail or screw with brand new tires. They said it was possible it was a defect with the stem.
I probably won’t pick it up until after work. So you’ll be in suspense all day about the cause of my flat tire. Sorry about that.
PS. Chance of flurries tonight and tomorrow morning.
Mom
Hope you fix the Itunes!!!
Julie
I say it is a defect with the system- mine is broken. I remember the first time it started flashing and saying my tire pressure was wrong, I was on the 401 heading to Brian’s, I had to pull off and check it, but it seemed just fine, it happened two more times before I made it to his place. Now it goes off every few weeks, I just ignore it- it says it is the same tire each time.
It means it isn’t your tires!
Lisa
Have you actually checked the tire pressure Julie??? It can look just fine and be very under inflated.
Julie
My tires are ok, now it just flashes at me for a second and then goes to a message service engine soon…. just kidding, it says service tire pressure system or something like that. Hope yours is a glitch as well.
