OK, you’re from Ontario Lisa. Do you miss the black and grey squirrels ? Coz I sure do. They were as common as dirt back in Peterborough but never seem ’em here. Just the cheeky red ones.

I’m not sure Sybil if they said it was squirrel proof. I think it was just supposed to be big bird proof. Ha ha. Sneaky squirrel.
I like watching the red squirrels, but they sure are greedy bird seed eaters. It is funny talking to people here in Nova Scotia about squirrels. Some of them have heard about the squirrels in Ontario and how they are as big as rabbits 🙂

Lisa, are there no other squirrels in Nova Scotia? Wow I never knew that! We have so many black ones here that raid my bird feeder!

There are only red squirrels here Michelle, and chipmunks 🙂
Actually there are supposed to be many nocturnal flying squirrels around here too, but I’ve never seen one.
