Gorgeous afternoon

I wasn’t feeling terribly productive after lunch today, so I caved to the draw of the sunshine and went for a couple hour hike.

It’s about -14°C. Cold enough to build up some decent ice in my water bottle, but warm enough to have a toque without earflaps on, and no scarf!

Starting just yesterday, I noticed all the snow is gone from the trees above a certain elevation. Not sure if it was the wind or if the sun is just warmer now !

Look at how high the sun climbs in the sky now!

I love this place so much. OK back to work….
