We decided to get a hotel in Saskatoon to get some laundry done and to wash up!

I found a deal on a hotel near the airport with laundry, but when we checked in, they said, oh no, we have a laundry service, not public laundry.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr! Expedia lies!

So I guess we’re finding a laundromat tomorrow!

I had a great sleep last night. Cathy not so much. The campground was almost entirely empty. Maybe because it was so cold and wet. Lots of spiders on the tent this morning!

We are getting super efficient at packing up a wet tent in the morning. We drove down to the lake since we didn’t see it in the rain last night and were off to an early start.

Today was a cloudy and very windy, gusty day. Gusts on the prairies are no joke! I can only imagine the snow drifts in the winter!

We stopped in North Battleford for lunch at a Church’s Chicken (first time – decent!) and filled up on gas. We saw regular gas for $1.209 this morning in Alberta, but I was already full! Wow!

Once in Saskatoon I took Cathy to the Cabela’s. These stores aren’t what they once were. I found a pair of sleep shorts I was going to wear during laundry time tonight, BUT I GUESS THAT WONT BE HAPPENING.

So we did decided to live life to the fullest and we ordered room service!

Or we just didn’t feel like going back out to find food.

Cathy got a bbq brisket smash burger. My shrimp allergy and the number of times I’ve had a cross contamination from a shared fryer led me to play it safe and order a Hawaiian pizza. It’s really tasty! And I have more than half of it to go in the cooler tomorrow. Yay!

At least the hotel comp’d us a couple of breakfast vouchers for the morning!
