There was plenty of construction during my last leg home. It was sunny. It rained. Same ol’ story. I saw a moose though!

Any ideas I had about how my reuniting with Jeff and Hank, after 2 months away, was going to go, was completely table flipped when Jeff messaged me to stop at the camper on my way into town to help him winterize it. Okay, I can do that!
Hank seemingly couldn’t care any less that I’m home. He’s just so different from a golden retriever (I’ve had three). He doesn’t get all waggy or whiny or beg for pets or scritches. He just looked at me with the equivalent of ‘hey’ and carried on with his day.
Jeff’s kept the house clean and almost every plant alive! The big tropical plant that lives 2 inches behind the kitchen sink was forgotten. 🤣 Poor thing.
I’m going to write a separate summary post of all my thoughts and feelings and revelations from this trip. Coming soon!
In the meantime, adjusting back to life at home has been alright. I didn’t have to get gasoline today. I know where I’m sleeping tonight. And the wifi is pretty good! 😌
