Just after 4pm here and pretty dark outside already.
The mega-end-of-the-world-we’re-all-going-to-die blizzard is just a regular snowy day (so far). Everything is cancelled and closed today. Can’t remember the last time Canada Post cancelled mail delivery in the entire province.
Luckily Jeff was able to stay home, but I think he would have been okay travelling to work and back. He was supposed to be at a meeting in Halifax today, so I’m glad that was cancelled early.
Some places are having good whiteouts, but not here. There is a chance for freezing rain and continued wind for this afternoon, but so far this is a really long way from a blizzard.
