We went to Nissan this morning to have my engine warning dash light investigated. And we left at noon with a newly installed purge valve!

It was choking a bit last night so I’m so glad they had the part and squeezed me in! I highly recommend Thunder Bay’s Nissan dealership! They even made a video as the mechanic checked things and texted it to me so I could also see that my tires are good and my brakes are getting closer to needing replacement.

We were on the road by 1pm. Another great reason why I booked our campsites ahead for 4 days but without too much distance to drive each day. We only had a few hours to get to the first destination.

We are staying tonight at Wild Goose Campground before Geraldton. It’s a really nice, quiet park on a lake that my friend Jana recommended.

Jana and I were roommates one summer in Thunder Bay, back in 97 maybe?

She came out to the campsite tonight with her daughters and their friend. I haven’t seen her since 2003 or 2004 maybe. She hasn’t changed a bit!

We got a campfire going and the hours flew by!

We will see each other again tomorrow for proper photos but I didn’t want to forget like I did when we were with Karen and Jenn. Not Brian though, he just ran from the camera. Physically ran. Blog shy I guess.

Now I’m sitting up by the fire watching the stars.
