Canadian Carver Trip

Had a nice drive today. Beautiful weather – low 20’s, no humidity. Just beautiful.

Went up to the Canadian Carver near Batchewana. It’s a couple nice gift shops, full of native arts and crafts. We took a nice drive on a back road too, got out and walked down to the river. Got our sandals soaked. Nothing like a sandal full of mud!

I talked to one of the ladies working at the Canadian Carver for a bit. She’s from Southern Ontario and seemed to be going right squirrelly up in the middle of no where. She said she’d been back to S. Ontario three times this month already! She misses all the roads – finds it weird that there is only one road up here 🙂
